Moving on from the FitEars F111... Recommend me an IEM that below $1k, as neutral or more neutral than the F111 and as non-fatiguing
On paper, the F111 is the best IEM for me. I've had it for almost a year and I love them even though I've owned supposedly better IEMs that cost more. They are comfortable and sound great. However, I'd like an upgrade. TG334 seems like the logical next step but I am open to suggestions. Any...- TheSacredSoul

The Fiio E10K vs the iBasso D-Zero MK2 for Desktop Speakers
My old soudcard is dead (Auzentech Prelude) and doesn't have compatible drivers for Windows 10. Thinking of upgrading to DACs. My speakers are the Presonus Eris E4.5 active monitors. Shortlisted the above 2. The MK2 cost about 30 bucks more. I think both will be sufficient for my speakers but in...- TheSacredSoul

The Schiit Stack M&M
Considering moving from my Auzentech Prelude internal soundcard to the M&M combo. However, I have no prior knowledge of using Amps or Dacs. Can someone explain in layman terms how do I hook them up with my PC and Aego M speakers? The speakers use standard 3.5mm jack. I assume the amp and dac...- TheSacredSoul

Misplaced my Westone 3, thinking about getting the Shure 535...
I got an even better offer of the SE535LTD for a even cheaper price so I am getting that. Looking to upgrade the cables from stock though. Is Lune MKIII recommended for the 535?- TheSacredSoul

Misplaced my Westone 3, thinking about getting the Shure 535...
Recently I misplaced my much beloved (6 months old Amazon set) Westone 3 after they slipped out of my bag. I wanna get another set of IEMs but not the W3 again and the W4 is out of my price range. The S535 seems to fit the bill. Also found a one month old set being sold for USD$280. What do...- TheSacredSoul

I just ordered the W3 from Amazon and just wondering on your guys suggestion on tips? From what I gather, Shure olives and modded triflanges are the best and the Comply's sacrifice on the highs?- TheSacredSoul

Would I need a headphone amp like the Fiio E9 for the Denon D2000?
Thank you! That was really helpful! Gained better understanding of the whole setup. I'll get the D2000 and pair it with my prelude first. If I find the sound disappointing or lacking, then I'll invest in a proper amp. Thanks for your advice! One last thing, to switch from my speakers to the...- TheSacredSoul

Would I need a headphone amp like the Fiio E9 for the Denon D2000?
Correct me if I am mistaken but the E11 cant be used while charging right? I am looking for something that can just sit on my table and can be used anytime using AC power. And not too expensive. Fiio has a few choices but I am unsure which to choose. Also, from my limited understanding, I gather...- TheSacredSoul

Would I need a headphone amp like the Fiio E9 for the Denon D2000?
Buying the D2000 soon and hear that that it performs a lot better with an headphone amp. Currently using the Auzentech Prelude soundcard. Do I need the E9? I do not need it to be unbearably loud. Just wondering if it brings about tighter bass control, better SQ etc... And if I need the E9, how...- TheSacredSoul
