Pros on cons of the ATH-Pro700

Ive had the MK2s for about 2 months now paired with an E11. This is a great set up, especially with an EQ app. The pads they come are not great but you can replace the pads for about $15 (usd) with ath-m50 ore shure 840 pads. i got the 840 pads and have no more complaints.

Car Audio Basshead Seeking Basshead Headphones

I finally got the ATH-Pro700Mk2 and E11. I've only had it for less than 24 hours so I'll give you my initial impressions then a follow up later after I've had more time to try them out and "burn them in". I’m not an audiophile so my analysis will be basic.   The Packaging- who cares...  ...

Car Audio Basshead Seeking Basshead Headphones

Quote: No not not for driving! I won't be driving with headphones on. You misunderstood me. I have pretty much given up on listening to my system in the car (and house). I am looking for some high quality basshead cans to use mostly at work or at the gym. I'll bump my car system whenever...

Car Audio Basshead Seeking Basshead Headphones

Thanks machoboy and Posam. I''d like to try several of the basshead cans before making a purchase. Where is best place to try headphones out? I've been to the big box stores and the selection is limited. Guitar Center was a little better but did not have a listening station like the the big box...

Car Audio Basshead Seeking Basshead Headphones

Quote: Thanks biggbenn74. I not huge fan of the styling of the XB series. I am looking for a headphone that is really durable, preferably with a detachable cord. I haven't been able to listen to the XBs at any stores yet (none on display in my area). I did listen to some klipsch image one's...

Car Audio Basshead Seeking Basshead Headphones

This is my first my first post so forgive me if I am not doing something right. I am a bass head and have been one for a long time. I usually listen to music in my p/u truck with my two 12" type-r subs under my back seat and my type-r door speakers (all amped of course). Now that I am in my 30s...
