Comfortable on-ears w/ glasses - do they exist?
Hey that’s a good call on the Drop version. Stealthier look with mic for $38. That's pretty hard to beat. EDIT: Pulled the trigger. No biggie if I end up trying a Grado, too. Always good to have a spare PortaPro around.- teofilrocks

2021 iMAC Audio
I use SoundSource by Rogue Amoeba. https://rogueamoeba.com/soundsource/ Super flexible, support for Headphone EQ, macOS Core Audio units, per app level and effect control. I love it, worth the $39.- teofilrocks

Comfortable on-ears w/ glasses - do they exist?
Thats funny actually, and a little ironic. I had a pair of PortaPros, that I put those yellow Sennheiser pads on. Great little headphone. My wife thought they were funky and retro looking, so I ended up giving them to her. I wore them once to a meeting, and immediately got interesting comments...- teofilrocks

Comfortable on-ears w/ glasses - do they exist?
I’m pretty sure the Sundara is not at all an "on-ear" headphone. Looks the same size as the HE-400 I owned.- teofilrocks

Comfortable on-ears w/ glasses - do they exist?
I'm in a lot of video calls and meetings from home now. My headphones are all full-size (see sig), and all are a bit distracting when I need to wear them. On longer calls, they also start to make my head hot - even the HD6XX. So I'm wondering if there are some on-ear options that are comfortable...- teofilrocks

Recable with inline iPhone/iPod control? Pics?
I’m not sure what’s crazier, a 7 year old thread resurrection, or that I’m still around to reply to it. But, to answer your question, sort of. I ended up cutting off the earbuds from an old iPhone headset. I then replaced the Canare cable with this stock Apple cable, and somehow soldered the...- teofilrocks

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
I really do love the sound character of my GR-07BE. I'm curious which of the A-series has a similar response.- teofilrocks

JVC HP-DX1000 Owners Unite!
Ok, good to know, thanks. After you told me to consider the DX1000 as a TH-600 replacement, I can't get it out of my head. Even after getting the NightHawk. I've yet to find cans that have authoritative bass, natural mids, and smooth / slightly rolled-off treble that also has a big enough...- teofilrocks

So is it generally safe to get the DX1000 from an Amazon seller in Japan?- teofilrocks

Meridian Director DAC: Anyone here own one?
With or without MQA, I'm still excited about getting the Director in. Picked up a like-new open box from a dealer for $275. That was a good enough deal to put me over the edge.- teofilrocks

AudioQuest NightHawk Impressions and Discussion Thread
Yea, I had to get my cable replaced, too. The problem was in the 1/8" stereo jack. Had to hold it a certain way to get sound out of both sides. RMA replacement came quick.- teofilrocks

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro - Limited Edition, 32 Ohms
I do wish I could listen to the LE version again. Owned them for a bit when they came out and sold them. Don't see too many come up for sale, though.- teofilrocks

Perhaps they're working on a closed version, not because the NightHawk sounds very open to us, but sounds very open to everyone who sits near us.- teofilrocks
