battery power is not a problem, i can plug it in. and i want a tube amp because i mostly listen to classical and opera and tubes make it nice and warm. and i want a amp that uses el84 tubes because i order a 12au7 and they sent me 2 el84's instead.

Ok so I Enjoy going to my local coffee spot. I would like to get a portable tube amp for under 200 that uses EL84 tubes (because i order a 12au7 for my bravo and got 2 JJ Electronics EL84...) Also a good portable Dac. I plan on getting a Nexus 7 at some point and would like to have a nice setup...

i think ill just go with the hd650's then. just talked with my brother and he said that he thinks people saying the 650s being poor build quality is bs. plus, if there is one thing my brother has taught me about audio, most of the time you can get your money back.
