A New Budget IEM! JVC HA-FX102! (updated for 2015)
When I first listened to these, they sounded like they were lacking some bass, particularly in the mid bass and lower bass region (even for XX series). The whole frequency sounded somewhat lean. After some period of burn-in, the bass has become more solid and is a little more controlled. It’s...- Surg

A New Budget IEM! JVC HA-FX102! (updated for 2015)
So just giving a quick update to anyone thinking about purchasing these IEMs, they are definitely above their price tags. I can’t believe what I’m hearing on these. About 20 hours in and most of the distortion and mids being overwhelmed is simply disappearing. Bass has gotten deeper and detail...- Surg

A New Budget IEM! JVC HA-FX102! (updated for 2015)
Thanks for the read B9Scrambler! The build is indeed weird because of the sharpness on the edging of the housing which can cause irritation if placed wrong. Sanding down the edges is a really nice idea... why didn't I think about that haha. On the other hand,I can definitely pick up...- Surg

JVC/Victor FX700 - The Successor (early Easter Bunny brought something very nice!)
hmmm. I found it weird that the build quality would look so terrible on these out of the other earphones I have seen. Looks like a 10$ earphone jack, heh. Sending mines in and hoping for the best now. Might have to get back to my Re-262's.- Surg

JVC/Victor FX700 - The Successor (early Easter Bunny brought something very nice!)
Thanks for the reply James and Ultrazino. I'm using Monster silicon tips and even though I’ve tried many tips, I can't seem to get one steady sound signature from these unlike my re-262. Every day the sound signature changes literally. Some days, it sounds amazing with almost forward liquid...- Surg

JVC/Victor FX700 - The Successor (early Easter Bunny brought something very nice!)
Hi guys, I’m new to the head-fi community and I’ve been reading some of these forums for certain headphones I planned to buy. First off, I would like to say thanks for any help provided here. The issue I’m having is with the JVC FX700 and how terrible it sounds. I bought my FX700 from Amazon...- Surg
