KOSS ESP-950 Thread
They were pretty standard in that regard. You/they can just pull them off; I found it easier to start on a "middle" side rather than the top or bottom.- Starionn

KOSS ESP-950 Thread
Well, I received my ESP950's yesterday from girlfriend (wish some suggestions from me...) and I have to say that they're quite nice so far! I actually ordered them quite a bit ahead of time, so with the advanced notice I was able to buy some pads and my Vesper Audio pads came in today as well...- Starionn

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Quote: Budget: Nothing specific. I'm willing to wait and save, but the highest I'd probably go would be the 650. Where: Home. Isolation: None required. Kind of music: Pretty cliched "everything", except for country and "hard" edm stuff. So rock, alternative, punk, with some electronic...- Starionn

Might start my own thread, but figured I'd ask here first. Any opinion on which "high end" Sennheiser is most similar sounding to the hd 428? I bought it just to try it the Sennheiser signature, and I rather like it. Wondering where to go. 600/650 or 595/598, or something else?- Starionn

The Deals Thread II. (READ THE FIRST POST!)
Near as I can tell, that is indeed the case. I think whenever they get a return, it gets thrown up there. The msii that I bought was gone right after I ordered it, and the site updates really often, both with new items and items that only last a brief time.- Starionn

The Somic Thread--50mm driver open air full size cans pop out of nowhere, sound amazing
For the folks using the Shure 840 pads, how has the fit been? I really like the pads, but they came off the old version of my MD's, which I'm pretty sure had to be stretched to fit them. The 840's don't sit in the grooves super well on the 463, and only kind of stay on if I wrap them around the...- Starionn

Sick of buying headphones
The "incase sonic" headphones are, so far, the most comfortable cans I've ever used (even over the Mad Dogs with Alpha pads). Extremely light weight, memory foam ear pads and head rest covered in suede. All quite sturdy. Detachable cable, if you're into that sort of thing. Head-Fi thread...- Starionn

Okay, that didn't take long. Turns out it was the cable where it enters into the cup. It's not really "locked down" anywhere inside, so whenever I turn my head or bump the cable, the thicker part bumps into the plastic shell of the cup. Thinking a touch of glue to keep it from being so mobile...- Starionn

Okay, mine made it in today! First impressions, the headphones are quite good. Actually, my first thought was that they were "surprisingly competent", a term that I always felt was pejorative in the past, but my reaction was "wait, I paid how much for these?". My "highest end" headphone is my...- Starionn

"Mad Dog" by MrSpeakers, modified Fostex T50RP review
While we're on the topic of stickers, is there a reason that you stopped using the angry dog sticker? I was a little sad to see it gone when I get my MD's back from their 840 upgrade. Of course it's all about the sound, so it's all good, but I was just curious.- Starionn

Infinite sadness. The seller for my MH 463 sent it to the wrong country. 2 Weeks down, going to have to start the wait over again.- Starionn
