VSonic VSD1/VSD1S Reviews/Impression Thread
So after one month of waiting. My VSD1's are back from warranty replacement. The updated VSD1 now have a giant R on the right earbud located directly to the left of the VSD1 logo. Anyways, I decided to throw some sony hybrids on them, and man oh man are they much more comfortable. I can't really...- StarfishP

I honestly wish i could figure that out myself. Came back from the gym one day and pulled them out of my ears and the housing just came apart. trying to see if i can glue them back together still or find a way to fix them. If not I might buy a new pair or just use my tf10s again.- StarfishP

Quote: So are you saying that the bass will get more controlled because I just received mine and the one thing that i've noticed is that the bass needs some tightening up. Does that fix overtime with burn in?- StarfishP

Quote: I'm actually going through this exact process right now. Bought the IEMs back in 2011 and the manual and box clearly say 2 year warranty. But what they are telling me is that they will only offer me the UE600 as a "Courtesy" replacement and saying that it was worth more than what i...- StarfishP

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Hi, I was wondering how much a pair of broken TF10s go for nowadays. The only thing wrong with it is that there's a pin stuck in the socket of the left earpiece. I would sell these to those who want them to reshell.- StarfishP

Pin broke off in TF10 socket...what to do
Omg...this just happened to me today and I am so sad...I tried to use tweezers to remove the pin but i can't seem to get a grip to pull it out... Now I want to try the gorilla glue thing, but i'm too scared that the glue will get into more than just the pin. I don't know what to do and i have...- StarfishP

I too am currently using the Chris_Himself cable and 100% back this product. It brings out the mids of the tf10 as well as defines the bass a little bit more. Also it is true that the cable sounds great after about 50 hours of burn in, but chris says that it really shines with about 200 hours of...- StarfishP

HELP: SOUL by Ludacris - SL99 vs Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise Isolating Earphones
Honestly, the cable isn't all that bad as many people make it to be. It has a little rubbery feel to it but its bearable. But a cable upgrade would help the tf10s a lot since aftermarket cables tend to bring out the mids more in the tf10s. If you do end up going this route, i recommend the...- StarfishP

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Just recently got my Chris_Himself cable in the mail and i do have to say that the TF10s sound much better! Some changes in sound that i've notice are that the mids are more forward and not as recessed as before. Also the bass becomes a bit punchier and more defined which is great imo! Chris...- StarfishP

High quality cables for UM3X RC/SM3 V2
So in other words, would the gold plated copper be better overall due to the fact that it does not oxidize compared to just a silver cable? Also lets say that both types of cables were gold plated, then silver would beat the copper. Quote:
