I just ordered the newest ipod classic since there were rumors that it would be discontinued soon and because I wanted a large capacity player, which seems to be a dying breed these days. However, the audio quality is completely lacking. Even compared to my iphone and my old beat up sansa clip...

i really hope they update the classic instead of cancelling it

for the record, i got w3s and am extremely happy with them. they sounded ok with the comply tips, but exceptional with the shure olives

its odd that they havent changed their sound...ever i guess sticking with a tried and true formula is the safer choice...
