Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Well, a few weeks in now and I'm loving them! Stopped using EQ with them, started using neutron music player and ordered an iBasso D Zero to use with them and my Galaxy S3. Can't wait for it to be delivered.. Great, comfy phones that are really good fun to listen to. Really happy with my purchase.- Splather

[Review] iBasso D-Zero, with FiiO E7 Comparison
Scratch that, bought it and the sound quality is outstanding! I'm guessing that the d zero will bypass neutron's processing?- Splather

[Review] iBasso D-Zero, with FiiO E7 Comparison
That's great, thank you. I tried Neutron a while back but couldn't get on with the UI, so I moved to PowerAmp. Might have another go with it though. Thanks again!- Splather

[Review] iBasso D-Zero, with FiiO E7 Comparison
Hi ClieOS Sorry, I wasn't being very clear - more going round in my head than I remembered to type out! I'm looking to use it with my Galaxy S3 primarily, maybe with my laptop every so often. But you're provided what I was after, and that was the part about the D Zero handling 16bit/48kHz...- Splather

[Review] iBasso D-Zero, with FiiO E7 Comparison
Hi guys About to pull the trigger on an iBasso D Zero - I had a look at the manufacturer's website and I can't see what FLAC files it would support - anyone able to point me in the right direction?- Splather

FiiO E07K ANDES Review and Help Thread
Hey guys I've got a Galaxy S3, international version, rooted, running Omega JB ROM with the latest Siyah kernel. I'm about to buy the E07K and want to connect it with USB to get the best out of it (I'm currently using an E6 via headphone jack and don't want to amp an already amped signal)...- Splather

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Yeah, dependant on what I'm listening to, I have to exercise judicious use of EQ so that it doesn't get too overpowering. Although I've found that if I EQ with the ports closed first, they're then set just about right to give me non-punishing but still fun levels of bass.- Splather

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
No worries - she has to put up with a lot worse! I've found the bass ports pretty useful myself, after I set up an EQ, they just add a nice bit of colour. Lovely.- Splather

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
The best the wife could offer was "minimal". I tried with the ports open and closed and she said she couldn't really hear a difference in leakage. I can't comment on the other phones, but I'm very pleased with the build quality of my COP's, they seem very well made. Plus, pretty much all of it...- Splather

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Morning Well, I went ahead and ordered a pair and they arrived the other day. I haven't been able to spend a huge amount of time listening to them, but after a brief EQ on my player I think I can safely say I'm enjoying them! They're nice and light, very comfortable, with just the right...- Splather

DT770 - 80 ohm or 250?
Morning chaps. Well, I went ahead and ordered the COP's and they arrived a day or so ago. Haven't had an enormous amount of time with them, but so far overall I like them. They're very comfortable (although I am considering the velour pads for reasons of sweatiness). I've done a...- Splather

DT770 - 80 ohm or 250?
Guys, just wanted to say thanks for the input. I'm pretty certain I'm gonna go for the COPS when I get the funds. Thought of a few things I might try (get a spare plate and attach a Bluetooth receiver to it to use occasionally etc), and to be fair, they've gotta be an improvement on what I've...- Splather

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Review
Thanks MichaelLaing, that's really helpful and the pics are awesome! Does the M80 cable sit securely in there, even without engaging with the locking mechanism? If you have chance, could you give me an idea of the diameter of the jack you've had success with? Is the retaining clip spring loaded...- Splather

DT770 - 80 ohm or 250?
Sorry, I meant that the replaceable cable was a marginal "plus" for the COP over the 770. It's not a huge consideration to be honest, but the flexibility of being able to use shorter/longer cables or add volume/phone control, mic cables etc sounded like it might give me more options for using...- Splather
