Didn't hear a difference.... maybe it's because I use onboard audio and a crappy (by Head-Fi standards) pair of cans.

Slumdog Millionaire - 2/5 If you haven't read the book (Q&A) before watching the film, then it's a good movie. However, if you read the book before watching the film (like me), you will be furious at how much they changed the story. They didn't even bother to keep the main character's name.

So I just got ASIO for foobar and the ASIO4ALL driver and with 5.1 in foobar it just sounds awesome. The sound is much clearer, especially with my CD rips. Either that, or placebo. However, with ASIO the sound is too loud. With my normal settings I can listen OK at foobar's max volume (+0 db)...

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was a racism test. I got a 10, probably because I use a cheap-ass monitor with really bad colors.

Holy crap. This is one of the best audio tricks I've ever tried. All of my songs sound more full, softer, and generally better. The soundstage is just awesome. I can't wait to try this with a pair of really good cans.... I'm currently eyeing the Grado SR80s.... just need the money...

Just got The Police's Ghost in the Machine and Reggatta de Blanc. The waveforms are not subtle. Thankfully, the mastering guys were not retards and did not jack everything to clipping levels.
