I managed to carefully get it out. It still doesn't work. The fading in does make me think it's a driver rather than cable issue. I've dealt with those before, so I know how they sound.

I've had the HF5s in the past. Loved em, but they really are bass light, though they will get decent bass with a good seal in your ear.   Note, I use "had" since I lost them and wanted to keep experimenting, not because I didn't like them.

Does anyone here have any thoughts regarding these compared to the GR07s?

Regarding the memory wire, until I completely removed it, it would cause a bit of discomfort where it went over my ears. Now? No discomfort at all.   Now if only I could figure out how to prevent discomfort every time I swap out my Ety tri-flanges...

I just got a different pair of headphones, the Rockit Sounds R-50, and I can say that, as with the Hf5s, they pair very well with the C3.   I still have to get the BH that many here say pairs well with the C3...

I just got these in the mail. (A lot faster than expected.) I was replacing my HF5s with them. With the Ety triflanges, they sound good.    I'm keeping them.

Hello! I am a bit saddened to say that I have lost my HF5s. I quite liked the sound from them, but I'm curious to see what IEMs you guys would suggest. (Roughly the same price range as the HF5s, but I could stretch quite a bit this time... to about $2-300 if needed.)   Thanks in advance!
