VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
I managed to carefully get it out. It still doesn't work. The fading in does make me think it's a driver rather than cable issue. I've dealt with those before, so I know how they sound.- SpartanD63

Etymotic HF5 weak bass
I've had the HF5s in the past. Loved em, but they really are bass light, though they will get decent bass with a good seal in your ear. Note, I use "had" since I lost them and wanted to keep experimenting, not because I didn't like them.- SpartanD63

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
The sound went out suddenly I'd assume, as it was in between uses, moving it did nothing, and then, after wearing them for a bit, (20-30 minutes) the right side "faded in" to normal levels. Now, I don't even get that. And sadly, no electronic diagnostic and repair stuff here. (Don't know why...- SpartanD63

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Well, it looks like, after a year, my GR07 Classics have failed. I'm getting no audio from the right channel. I've tried removing a mass of earwax, thinking that was the issue. No go. I then tried gently manipulating all through the cable. No go. Then, I tried taking it apart to take a look. The...- SpartanD63

VSONIC GR07 Classic Color 2014 Edition: Unboxing and first impressions
Mine arrived a couple days ago from Lend Me Ur Ears. Mine DID have the proper "GR07 Classic" stickers, and the same accessories as others have posted. (S, M, L, double flange, and Comply eartips, in addition to the ear hooks) I decided to wait a bit to listen and post some impressions so...- SpartanD63

VSONIC GR07 Classic Color 2014 Edition: Unboxing and first impressions
Thanks to this forum, I've got a pair of maroon/wine coming soon. My wallet hates forums like this... I'll post my impressions when I get them. (No experience with Vsonic so far, so no comparisons from me)- SpartanD63

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
I would advise against recabling these. THe TWFK drivers are monstrously difficult to handle unless you know what you're doing. (Which I don't, so I'm down a driver. ) Oh well... After several attempts to fix these things (the last being a horrible failure) I have three options. Buy another...- SpartanD63

Colorfly C3 Discussion Thread
Been a while since I've been on here... (Why am I coming back? My wallet was recovering nicely!) Speaking of annoying buttons... I must say that the most annoying issue is having the player keep thinking the next button is pressed. It does that sometimes. As such, I have to carry around a...- SpartanD63

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
Regarding the memory wire, until I completely removed it, it would cause a bit of discomfort where it went over my ears. Now? No discomfort at all. Now if only I could figure out how to prevent discomfort every time I swap out my Ety tri-flanges...- SpartanD63

Colorfly C3 Discussion Thread
I just got a different pair of headphones, the Rockit Sounds R-50, and I can say that, as with the Hf5s, they pair very well with the C3. I still have to get the BH that many here say pairs well with the C3...- SpartanD63

Rockit Sounds R-50 Reviews and Impressions
I just got these in the mail. (A lot faster than expected.) I was replacing my HF5s with them. With the Ety triflanges, they sound good. I'm keeping them.- SpartanD63

Quote: Alright, upon your suggestions, I looked into the two. The eQ5, while nice looking, I wouldn't like it as it looks a bit awkward to wear. The R-50 though, that's another story. I decided to get a pair after reading a few reviews. They seem like they'll be very good. If they don't...- SpartanD63

Hello! I am a bit saddened to say that I have lost my HF5s. I quite liked the sound from them, but I'm curious to see what IEMs you guys would suggest. (Roughly the same price range as the HF5s, but I could stretch quite a bit this time... to about $2-300 if needed.) Thanks in advance!- SpartanD63
