Little Dot MKIII and HLLY MKIII
Oh yeah. Sorry. It is identical to the LD MK IV. It is $20 cheaper than the LD MK IV. Can anyone say anything about the quality compared to the LD MK IV?- sno

Little Dot MKIII and HLLY MKIII
Is it just me or do these two amps look identical? I mean, they have different specs and all, but they look the same... why? HLLY MKIII - HLLY MK III 3 Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier Pre Amp - eBay (item 330349890343 end time Aug-14-09 07:15:49 PDT) Also, the font of the HLLY...- sno

Question About Impedance (another one)
I know impedance is a very popular question, but I have been wondering about something that I didn't find answered (maybe I didn't look hard enough). I think I, kind of, understand what impedance is... however I don't understand why have different amounts of impedance. I'm sure it isn't about...- sno

Which amp?
I've decided to buy the Senn HD600s and the Little Dot MKIII amp, and tube roll it. I think that's a decent start...- sno

Bluetooth headphones
You said you'd use it on the streets... Won't it be easy for someone to run by you and just "snatch" them? :P- sno

Help me mix and match
I have read around and I think I have decided on the stuff I want (and can) buy. I have decided on two headphones that I will try out. I found the dealers at which I will be able to demo them. The 'phones are: Senn HD600 and Grado SR325i. Now, I am in a dilemma. Do I go ahead and buy the...- sno

Which amp?
That is actually helpful. One down, two to go. I have decided to go with the HD600s... Now, which one would sound better with Senn HD600s, I+ or the EF2? Or, perhaps, a new third option? :P Also, I asked in the EF2 topic, but I can ask here, too. Does the EF2 work with Linux?- sno

I need some advice...
Thanks for the advice, 1Time. But, I have asked about the three hybrid amps I was considering and how they work with the HD600 (I think)... :P As I said, I gave up on the computer sound card and am focusing on getting a hybrid/tube amp. I'm considering: - LD I+, because it's the...- sno

I need some advice...
I mentioned the external sound card before I considered getting a tube/hybrid amp. Then I realised I'd like a tube/hybrid amp with (hopefully) two inputs (RCA and usb, like the EF2; or two stereo inputs, like the LD MK III). My computer is filled with mp3s which are lossy, no matter what...- sno

I need some advice...
The around $250 (with $20-$30 overhead) was for the headphones only, which gets me 325i or HD600. On the amp, I was looking to spend up to $200 (with some overhead of course, if it will get me something noticeably better). I already listed the three amps I was looking at, so I hoped that...- sno
