I have my Perfect Seal PS6 (used) with them for reshell right now. Quoted 5 to 7 days. Great to deal with so far. I will let you know how they turn out, should have them back soon.

The Onkyo HF player's EQ (only bumping bass frequencies) really seems to have taken care of my main "gripe" with these headphones - lack of bass with some recordings. To clarify, I prefer some bass "bump" like a nicely tuned subwoofer produces (not overwhelming the rest of the frequency range.)...

Thank you for your honest assessment and follow up comments. I will say that I have found some things to get better after setting them aside and coming back to them a few times. But, if it's definitely not in the ballpark for you from the start, then the Forte might not be for you.   ...

I just got a set with my new Zen 2.0. These Monks are perfect out of my iPhone 6s Plus for on the go. Very friendly sound for all my music (forgiving unlike my other cans.) Thanks Lee you made my day!

Mine showed up today :)   I saw the Monks first and thought - "these aren't the right ones" for a min...LMAO   Tidal > Mojo > 2.0   I actually like them with foam - more comfy and I like the bit of bass boost. I am prob in the minority here though. I will try them again without later...
