    What are these 'phones?

Need to sell the car to buy them though. :( I see the local suppliers have them in stock. I'll find out which hifi store is carrying them and see if I can get a listen.

    What are these 'phones?

Thank you! :) Seems I've been hiding under a rock or something. I want to hear these things.

I haven't been around these parts for some time. Popped in few hours ago and I see my profile pic is this:     What are these?

Review by 'SinnerG' on item 'Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Headphones'

Also another owner here for whom the ATH-A900 is the first pair of good headphones.   They definitely stand out with their styling and massive aluminium cups. I just dig circumaural headphones. They're just so much more comfortable that on-ears.   Love the sound which works well for my...

My C&C XO stop working! where to get it fix?

The lithium cells are unbalanced. Just popped it open now to have a look after a week of trying to charge it. Batteries hooked up in series, one is 3.6V and the other is 4.2V and they both have a protection pcb on them. The charge circuit in this thing is basic and does no balancing. Doesn't...

My C&C XO stop working! where to get it fix?

A fellow head-fi'er gave me his C&C XO quite some time back. It's an awesome little thing, but I haven't put it to use in maybe 6 months or so. On Friday I fired it up again, but battery was dead. Hooked it up to a 12V source and the charge light (red) comes on, then just goes out.   I...

    Helium Music Manager 2009?

Anyone here using Helium Music Manager 2009? (Command an army of songs - Helium Music Manager) It's interface sure is pretty. It can use Access, MS SQL Server or MySQL as it's database, which also means HMM on another PC could just point to the database on a server instead of having to...

Cowon S9!Sound quality hard to beat!

Is it possible to get a line-out from this player to perhaps run it through an amp? Perhaps some of the connector pins are for line-out already?

230HP... sounds like the 5-cylinder 20v. Take it. Those engines are beautiful and strong. A little pricey come time for repairs, but they are reliable so guess that won't be much of an issue. Just don't get bit by the more-power bug... then the Audi 5-cylinder machines will eat a wallet.

Best way to carry PK1s (or any buds for that matter)?

I have one of those SendStation items for carrying around a pair of Denon AH-C700. The plastic piece on the inside for winding up the cord is glued in but can be removed. I have to do this for the C700s, but it works out fine. SendStation lists on their website what is known to fit.
