Well, to be honest, people have had very different experiences. One of the reviews you'll find if you google it is raving it up the skies - I wouldn't go that far. It's clean and bassy, and might sound muddled to some, but for some strange reason I find these headphones a lot more suspect...

Ah sounds like a good idea... Mind explaining the cotton in a bit more detail? And also, what heatshrink (that's the word i was looking for!) solution would you recommend? I'd obviously test this out on some other scrap cable I have before attempting to do this on my AKGs' one

Hi all, I just bought a pair of AKG K450, and I've noticed the cable is a bit on the thin side. Is there anything I can wrap around the cable, some sort of extra material or plastic that i might heat for it to coil around? I'd hate to have it go against my keys or something in my pocket...

Ah, yes. Most people seem to lean towards that one in terms of comfort and sound. I have read mixed reviews about it, some saying it's utter crap and others saying you'd have to go 1.5-2x more up in price to get the same value in terms of comfort/sound. I think I'll call these people...

Ouch, now that was a bit expensive!! :O but i just noticed, when i use 20db boost on my microphone, i can hear everything i say in the microphone, is there any way to disable it so microphone input doesnt come in the output..?
