Best closed portable cans for £50-100ish?
Well, to be honest, people have had very different experiences. One of the reviews you'll find if you google it is raving it up the skies - I wouldn't go that far. It's clean and bassy, and might sound muddled to some, but for some strange reason I find these headphones a lot more suspect...- sinetwo

Cable strengthening? Cablesocks/tights?
Many thanks for the offer, but I'm in the UK unfortunately. Wow that braiding thing looks sick! I don't have mechanisms like that handy, but do you know if it's possible to get cables braided on demand? E.g. I send my cable off and get it braided for a fee? I would actually prefer to have...- sinetwo

Cable strengthening? Cablesocks/tights?
Ah sounds like a good idea... Mind explaining the cotton in a bit more detail? And also, what heatshrink (that's the word i was looking for!) solution would you recommend? I'd obviously test this out on some other scrap cable I have before attempting to do this on my AKGs' one- sinetwo

Cable strengthening? Cablesocks/tights?
Hi all, I just bought a pair of AKG K450, and I've noticed the cable is a bit on the thin side. Is there anything I can wrap around the cable, some sort of extra material or plastic that i might heat for it to coil around? I'd hate to have it go against my keys or something in my pocket...- sinetwo

Best closed portable cans for £50-100ish?
Ah, yes. Most people seem to lean towards that one in terms of comfort and sound. I have read mixed reviews about it, some saying it's utter crap and others saying you'd have to go 1.5-2x more up in price to get the same value in terms of comfort/sound. I think I'll call these people...- sinetwo

Best closed portable cans for £50-100ish?
Hi all, I'm terribly sorry about posting this as I know there are a fair few threads that cover specific models, but I haven't found a good comparison of the ones covered by the following criteria: £50-100 Must be closed Must be portable (office/home/travel use) Must not be huge (the size of...- sinetwo
