Stax SR-X9000
Thank you Arnaud, you’ve cleared all my doubts about soundstage. More depth seems very good indeed and should be enough of an upgrade over the 009. I thought that a larger diaphragm would result in a bigger sound but that proved to be wrong. I am owner of a carbon and 009s and your comments...- simomat

Stax SR-X9000
Arnaud, so you haven’t found the soundstage of the X9k to be particularly larger or bigger than 009? Can you give us a little more information on soundstage and presentation? Instruments are placed in space in the same way as 009? I’m bothering you on this aspect because I thought that could be...- simomat

The Stax Thread III
Hi everyone, I found one of the rivets of my 009 holding the speaker is dislodged. I tried to push it back in gently but it didn't work. Do you know if it just needs to be pushed back in with force or is it screwed?- simomat

RME ADI-2 Pro - DAC, Headamp, an a lot of more stunning features
yeah you're right! You cannot dim the buttons. Everybody has his own preferances. I like the opposite. In the dark, listening to music, I love looking at the display with the analyzer and all various lights as long as they are not eye piercing bright.- simomat

Introducing the STAX SRM-T8000 - Head-Fi TV
I heard the T8000 in Munich and it was a very special listening experience. At the same show I listened to the Blue Hawai and thought it was a tad too bright for the 009. Technology is not all that matters. You have to hear how it sounds. And I think Stax this time has done a terrific job...- simomat
