I could never really get into my E500s, at least not after hearing the ER4Ps. Just couldn't handle the rolled off highs. I got the APS cable and it really helped the mid/lower, lower frequencies of the ER4Ps. -sid

If you're worried about the bass with the ER4P you could always do like I did. Buy an amp with bass boost (minibox e+ has really good synergy with the ER4P) and upgrade to the APS cable. The combination of these two really help! -sid

Userlander, do you happen to have some IEMs that you can check the Extasy's noise floor with? I'm pretty concerned about Dave's response email regarding hiss problems with lower impedance cans such as IEMs. -sid
