The new ones is only available at 120GB. 80GB, and 160GB is the old one. AFAIK the 120GB is the same as the older classic's. Both I believe are considered 6th gen.

My question is a little off topic, in regards to the line out. I have a ipod 160gb LoD connected to my hornet amp. the hornet amp controls the volume, but if I change the equalizer setting on my ipod the sound changes. Is that natural for a true line out?
