agreed, between the 2, it's not really 'better' or 'worse', really depends on the kind of sound you're after. have the xm4s, very good mainstream sound, strong bass, though the new memory foam buds hurt my ears even when I use the smallest ones, using another bud which reduces the effectiveness...

So. My zx1 died. Looking to get something 2nd hand, not too expensive. Saw a few ZX300s. Though I'm wondering if the zx507's worth paying double for with android and spotify, for more flexibility and convenience. hmm. and usb-c omg. how is the zx300 with the mr walkman firmware?

Is it just me, or does the mx4 sound like absolute dog shiet for classical and instrumentals, much worse than the xm3 the xm4 sounds more dynamic for some songs but for those with emphasis on instrumentals, it just sounds terrible to me. It's like listening to it on an old radio. So listening...

Oh, am I the only one getting constant drops and desyncs. For me the right side is constantly goes to sleep for a few seconds, and when I wake it up, there's a slight delay.

Any thoughts about connection quality for the XM4? Using the XM3, and right side goes for a nap often enough to be annoying. Disconnections too. Apparently this is a common problem in the XM3. Sony replace 3 sets for me and I gave up.

So. battery failing.. no longer charging... then, won't even start plugged in. Bought a new oem battery from aliexpress. 1300mah vs 970, so, an upgrade in capacity as well. Paid someone a few bucks to soldier it on, and holy shiet the old battery is bloated and warped, so definitely...

Hey is there an official leather case from Sony? Following naming convention I searched for ckl-nwzx1, can't seem to find anything though. Otherwise is there a good alternative to recommend? Not interested in a pouch.. I'd want a similar setup to sony's usual design, with a hard plastic...

dangit. the battery's officially gone. or maybe the motherboard.   I plug in, it shows the critical battery icon.. but after awhile it just stops responding.   the biggest problem is that i can't move my music library off of it now lol. oh dear.

Interesting...   I was considering the sennheiser ie80, ath-im02 and ckr9   ie80 had great lows, a little too strong for me. im02, loved the soundstage and clarity, tight lows, though a little week.   yet to try ckr9   any experience for the a2 vs the 3 above?
