Trust me, id know if it was a dead battery, light was strong. And it functioned for days after those incidents. So no, its not a dead battery, thats why im actually mentioning this.

Its not a huge problem, but sometimes when i leave it on burn-in and today as i walked outside, the amp shuts down and wouldnt come on again. The light was dead and it wouldnt work until i plug it into the charger, and it comes to life again if i flick the switch. Happened a few times now...

Speaking of, what amps do you anyone here end up using in a practical sense? There is always a better amp for a certain kind of use and genre. But an allround, kick ass, durable and allround good SQ amp? Not too coloured soundwise?

Im getting "qusp" here on the forum to build me a custom one, ask him, seems pro and renowned.

Actually, those models suit my needs. I will go for one of those and some decent cables. Im not quite the audiohead to recognize what is perfect amplification, so I think one of those will do. Thanks for the advice. My player is shaping up.
