What the $^&# heck is it?.........iFi iEMatch!

Will the iEMatch work with 3.5mm cables that have an inline mic? I currently have the UE buffer jack and it does not work with cables that have a mic - the sound becomes thin and distant. A regular cable with no mic on the same iems works fine. Will the iEMatch (or Earbuddy) have the same problem?

Samsung Galaxy S3 to DAC - USB Micro-B male to Mini-B male??

Fully charged up my D10, plugged it in, still nothing. I guess it's just my OTG cable, it might not support audio out. I'll have to get another one and try again. Edit: Just wondering, are you having success with an USB OTG Micro A --> Micro B? I'm using an USB OTG Micro A --> female USB, then...

Samsung Galaxy S3 to DAC - USB Micro-B male to Mini-B male??

Alright thanks! I've been using my D10 on my laptop mostly so it isn't charged, I'll try that and see if it works. The orange light lights up when plugged in, but I assume that the OTG can't provide enough power alone.

Samsung Galaxy S3 to DAC - USB Micro-B male to Mini-B male??

Sorry to bring this thread back, but for those of you who have gotten USB audio to work, what player did you use? I've been trying with Poweramp, and my device recognizes my dac (D10) and switches off headphone/speaker output, but no audio is coming through my dac...

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions

I have the TF10's and although they do sound better, I find that they don't isolate as well as the Shure's. I'm using Comply tips on the TF10 and there is quite a bit of background noise still. I'm pretty sure anything in the Shure line would have the same level of isolation though.

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions

They definitely aren't high end audiophile IEM's, but they are good value. I use mine mainly on the go, such as when I'm on the bus, on the plane, or at the gym. They isolate nicely, and in these situations, it wouldn't matter really how well it sounds as there is still a considerable amount of...

    Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread

I have noticed that too. In addition, one of my pads is definitely thicker than the other... I haven't noticed any changes in sound though when switching the pads between the two sides.

JH Audio JH16 Pro First Impressions

I find the wraps are useful if you are moving around. Whenever I am moving (such as head-banging or running) I find that the low end drops out. With the comply wraps, it greatly helps with reducing those effects.

JH Audio JH16 Pro First Impressions

It's not about having the most drivers. Sure, that is a good marketing thing for the "general public", but it comes down to the sound. The UERM only have 3 drivers, yet are one of the best in the market. Quality over quantity.

Maple Leaf Lounge/Aeroplan Rewards Question (Canadians...?)

Hey guys, this is a question directed mostly towards fellow Canadian Head-fier's here (or anybody who flies Air Canada/out of YYZ often) I am traveling next week and leaving out of YYZ. I have been into the Maple Leaf Lounge a few times, on my father's Super-Elite card and a few times on my...

    Playstation Vita

I didn't bother to try the headphone out on the Vita. Personally, I prefer to bring my Touch or classic with me though because of the fact that they just hold more. My touch doubles as my entertainment device with some games every now and then. The classic is a tank with 160GB of storage and a...

    god i hate battlefield 3

Quite a bit has been fixed. I find it improves the gameplay a bit, but one of the main things I want to see fixed is the hit recognition system. I think it is currently client side based so if one player is laggier, they are at an advantage/disadvantage based on the situation. Server side hit...

    god i hate battlefield 3

another thing I hate is trying to play public matchmake co-op. People don't seem to understand how the game works. Firstly, they camp and expect you to do all of the work. Then, since they're camping, you die. And when you crawl all the way back beside them, they don't even bother to revive you...
