This is what i'm also experiencing using clip+ rockbox, westone 4, and Z02.3, the soundstage is greatly reduced both in High gain and Lowgain.     Quote:

@SoundFreaq yeah EPEX10A  is the sony hybrids, for some reasons i cant find a good for earportz(i ordered trial pack, and never like comply tip - it kills the treble)   @au5t3n5 now you mentioned it, using z02 brings the sound forward..a little bit, but still i like the bass rumble =)

My Z02.3 just arrived after travelling halfway around the globe., Its a very good synergy with westone 4 + sansa clip. I don't hear any hiss or muffled sound using the high gain; and it give a new life/bass punch to W4 =).   On a side note, Digizoid customer service is very good - replied...

from my experience(using westone 4) using comply alters the sound -> it kills the treble but it so comfortable. tried several tip until i settled to sony hybrids =)

Westone 4 Tip.   Tried the following comply tip, grey tip, triflange, and sony hybrid (w/ small comply core).    Among of all the sony hybrid has the best sq and comfort, so which tip are you using?   * earportz and shure olives is in transit ^^
