Need advice-need a new mp3 player- with EQ (just got AKG K420)
Hi guys, havent posted for a while- surprised my account is still ok! Well, I hope to ask for a favour, for some suggestions for a new mp3 player. I used to have a Creative Zen Touch, but that died on me quite a while ago. I got a new pair of headphones- AKG K420, really good for the price...- rob1031

cool guys! especially that list is great. i have a question. i know what USB is, obviously, but what is PCMCIA? because the Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook sounds pretty good, and i've heard people using the desktop version a lot thanks- rob1031

Cheap monitoring midrange headphone last choices
erally? hd-25? i thought about them LONG LONG time ago but i didnt kno they're good for monitoring! so hd-25 over the AKG 271S even!?- rob1031

I think im getting the IBM Z60m. i want a soundcard that would be OK for recording some guitar and bass and stuff like that, just a SIMPLE way, very simple...prolly dont even need a lineout- just the normal input jack and stuff. i cant figure out the other stuff. it will be prolly for recording...- rob1031

Cheap monitoring midrange headphone last choices
I've narrowed my choices down; to a the cheap sony Sony MDR-7506 , which is good because the cost is quite low, and can be driven by my laptop (as im using my laptop + soundcard- still need to deide which to get, so low budget- for source) or the bigger and moer impressive but more...- rob1031

well i guess all i want is a pretty good headphone that is suitable for monitoring when editing my music stuff, so quite detailed, price is $150 tops, and i only got a cmoy amp which can boost the sound a bit. so im thinknig K271S (but would it be similar/not as good as my A900; closed...- rob1031

i acutally meant i will be monitoring the music through the computer. i only have a good cmoy. dont really understand what you mean by the guitar amp..heaphones haev nothing to do with the GUITAR amp.- rob1031

well AKG is possible, cause i know they need amps, i do have a good cmoy. Alessandro MS-1 might be a good idea as well, i thought about them. maybe some of you guys could throw some possibilities of AKGs? they sound like they;re more detailed and stuff, maybe better for monitoring. for...- rob1031
