IMO everything will come back to money 

Well IMO to match the portability of the consoles, you should get pair of IEMs. And generally, in gaming, you either want a little extra bass response to feel the explosions and a wide soundstage depending on your preferred genre.

Are there any noticeable changes to the sound? Also, the d12 is better sonically and power-wise than both the d4 and the d10 right? Thanks.

Any ideas on how this amp would sound with the SA6 and ESW9?

I vote for the ESW9's too. They are the best portables IMO, only surpassed by the ESW10 in both looks and sound. But then again, YMMV. ESW9's are coloured and mid centric. 

What if I changed the question to: How do both of these amps colour the sound? Make it warmer? Tone down the bass? Etc...   thanks.

Hi everyone,   I've recently bought a ESW9 and SA6. I'm running them through my iPod touch and plugged directly into my onboard Realtek ALC888. The main purpose of the amp/dac that I am trying to buy is to improve the sound of my computer as much as possible for around $240. It would be nice...

I have the PL30 and can tell you for sure that they are not bass heavy. They do sound good overall for the price though. Can't speak for the rest though. 

Does anyone know if UM will remould a pair of SA6's? And has anyone done it? How does it sound? 

Wow. That's quite high praise  I agree that the SA6 needs a bit, ok a lot, more bass impact. Not sure about treble. I've never been good at discerning the differences in treble unless its night and day. Alright I shall check out your reviews. Thanks.
