Audio-GD NFB-12
I'm making a purchase soon, I just can't decide between getting this dac or the project sunrise tube amp? I'm thinking if I start w/ the dac I could find a cheap vintage amp to use for the hp out and a set of bookshelfs. I'm really wondering what you guys think is the better starting...- RJ Hythloday

Twisted Pear Audio Opus DAC
here's the reply I got from their forum The Opus is basically just the DAC by itself and it has balanced output. If you want to get SE output you will need to either get the following: Ballsie Lite Converter Or Line stage with built in Ballsie IVY Even if you're going to go...- RJ Hythloday

Twisted Pear Audio Opus DAC
This is the most recent thread I could find on the opus dac, I've read a bit here and the diy forum, but I can't really be sure. I'm currently using a laptop that would either have to be usb out or headjack to rca. I'd like to be able to use optical or coax in the future. Would this be a good...- RJ Hythloday

FiiO E9 Review
This was looking like a good combo, but it sounds like the E7 as a portable will be useless for my phone that only has a headphone jack and micro hdmi.- RJ Hythloday

Can you tell the difference between: FLAC + MP3 + WAV ?
I can tell if I'm looking at a spectrogram (-: I have many flac some going as high as 24-192. I can't tell much difference, but space isn't an issue so I'll take the highest resolution available.- RJ Hythloday
