Well, now I have the Vortex, the Serial, and the Fan 2. I enjoy them all, and was listening with the Vortex most often before the Fan 2 arrived. Now, based upon little more than the Goldilocks principle (I'm not very technically oriented), the Fan 2 seems to be 'just right' to my ears... somehow...

Apparently, I have become a Penon fan, having purchased the Vortex first, which I really enjoy, and then the Serial, which I also really enjoy. So when the Penon Fan 2 was announced, despite thinking the last thing I need is another IEM, I purchased that one, too. It arrived surprisingly quickly...

I see that the new Rose Technics Martini earbuds are now available from Penon Audio. Does anyone know the diameter of these buds? My dinky ears won't tolerate anything larger than 16mm or so. Thanks!

Since the most recent firmware update, the sudden, ear-shredding tone has occurred twice while listening to a streaming playlist on Apple Music. One assumes Lotoo is aware of the problem, and will quickly provide a remedy.

Just received my pair of Newbsound 32pro earbuds and, hokey smokes... they sound fantastic!

That appears to be Lotoo's newer lightning cable for both the S1 and S2... it has the added choke thingy at either end (the previous one didn't).

The ddHiFi lightning to usb c cable seems to work okay with my iPhone, too.

I purchased an S2 for use with my iPhone and so far, so good. Having read about cable issues with iPhones, I also purchased a DDHiFi lightning/USB C adapter so I could use the USB C cables bundled with the S2... particularly the longer one. The long cable, along with the pause/play button added...

I'd have to give the Chaconne a very slight edge over the EM5s for revealing detail.

I have and enjoy both. I have dinky ears, and can't use foams. The EM5, being lighter, is easier on my ears, and has a full, robust sound... maybe a tad more bass. The Chaconne is brighter-sounding, still with enough bass (for buds), but the weight in the ears can be a little fatiguing after...
