Good Portable Headphones for $200 or Less
I am currently looking for a pair of portable, closed headphones to replace my Beyerdynamic DTX 501p's. Unfortunately my 501p's were stolen on a recent vacation. I would just buy the same headphones, but I feel there are better headphones to be had with a higher price range. I would like these...- redmagic

Good Tube Amps Under $700
My friend recently talked to me saying that he wanted to buy a new tube amp for around $700 or less, excluding tube rollings costs. I let him listen to my Woo Audio WA2 and he really liked it so I recommended him the WA3 which I read was like a downgrade from the WA2 while still keeping many of...- redmagic

Schiit DACs (Bifrost and Gungnir down, one to go)? The information and anticipation thread.
Is the Bifrost pretty much the best DAC under $500? My friend wants to buy one though I just want to make sure he is doing the right thing.- redmagic

Alternitive to Schiit Gungnir
Quote: Are you saying that nothing really compares to the Gungnir in my price range? I would really rather not wait if possible, though I will if I have to as I said before. (I am not worried about price)- redmagic

Alternitive to Schiit Gungnir
Anyone have any other opinions on this? If the Gungnir is truly better (in terms on sound quality mainly) I will probably just wait.- redmagic

Alternitive to Schiit Gungnir
Quote: As I said, I have not had a DAC for over a month now and I am really getting annoyed with my on board sound. Is there nothing in my price range that compares to the Gungnir? (Probably $1100 max)- redmagic
