So obviously this is like the millionth thread on here and every other audio forum asking a similar question, but after two days of searching, I can't find any asking the question with my specifics.   I'm trying to find a desktop headphone amp to go with my new HD 650s for around $200-$300...

Think I'm gonna grab a piggyback and see how it sounds.   Yeah the turn on and off thing doesn't make sense lol, I sorta forgot how my own receiver works.

Currently for my desktop PC, I am using a Schiit Modi DAC, a Schiit Asgard(original, not the 2), and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990s, and I absolutely love it, however I am starting to think that for watching movies or something, I wouldn't mind being able to kick back and listen with speakers...
