Has anyone tried use Bel Canto DAC3 as a headphone amp? I tried DAC3 > XLR output > Balanced W5000 and have to set the volume at 55 (Max is 65). Just want to know whether this is normal or not. It seems that the output is not as powerful as I thought.

Someone please sell me a used HPA. I am too poor to buy a new one. But I really like it
