Audio-GD NFB-1.32
Hi, Yes I do like the characteristics and I have also read that the sabre es9018 is great when there is a volume control incoporated into the dac.. I want to cut the pre amp out and go direct to amp. You are right about buying once, and thats causing me to lean toward the NFB-7.32.- pshdk

Can I replace the mylar and mica caps with polystyrene?
Hi I'm real new to this and learning. I'm doing a recap on a sony N80es amp and was wondering if I can replace the mylar and mica caps with polystyrene? I have read that the dielectric sandwich is rolled together with polystyrene, and this adds inductance limiting their frequency...- pshdk

Looking for this type ceramic cap??
Hi, I'm trying to find this ceramic (WG) 100pf 10% 50v cap or a replacement for it? This cap comes from the Sony N80es main (A) board. Could I use a (PP) cap in its place? Thanks for the help.- pshdk
