While not a common tube, I have read that this tube will work well in many designs. The problem of course is the limited supply of good NOS American made tubes.

Although I've never done it, my impression from many articles, posts, etc. is; if you thought getting 'em off is hard, wait until you try getting 'em back on! Think about getting a can of compressed air first and giving 'em a good blowing. You won't believe the junk that comes out (uggh.)
