In need of some advice for Grado SR80 repair
That's actually something I never considered. I'm in Canada, so $55 plus 32 for new pads (I need some new ones) and I'm looking at $87 to repair these. Will they provide a new cable seeing as mine has been cut before (and it's also stiff from facial oils rubbing off on the wires). I would only...- PersianMafia

In need of some advice for Grado SR80 repair
First, I would like to apologize about my username. I made this account in high school, over four years ago. Now on to the story. I apologize if this is primitive for most of you but I could use some of your advice. So I have had these Grado SR80s for over 4 years now and they've been...- PersianMafia

slowcore. that's where slint got part of their sound from. listen to some codeine. 'washer' can be considered a slowcore song in my mind. and spiderland and loveless are right now, in my mind, the two greatest albums ever recorded.- PersianMafia

Belong
For any of you shoegazers/noise/drone enthusiasts out there, here's Turk from Belong giving an interview and praising his Grado 325s. Considering he partially mastered October Language with Grados I'm sure any Grado fan should give the album a listen on the cans. Gearwire goes SXSW: Belong |...- PersianMafia

Best cans under $200 for shoegaze rock?
I recommend that you and I share a sweet taste in music. I use grado sr80's myself. Considering a lot of shoegaze and late 80's early 90's alternative/indie rock was catered more towards making the best music ever with a lot of noise rather than audiophile standard albums, I'm content with my...- PersianMafia

Best Solo Guitarists
I'd much rather enjoy white noise coming out of Kevin Shields' guitar rather than listen to some shred guitarist mindlessly run his fingers up and down a fret board. But if we're looking at the more traditional stand-point of a guitarist it would be John Frusciante for me. His blend of melody...- PersianMafia

KSC75 Warranty Question
Hey guys, So i have the KSC75s and the left ear suddenly stopped working. So, thinking the wire connection with the phone-speaker terminals was the problem, I cut the wire, skimmed it (properly) and soldered it back and it hasn't solved the problem. It looks like the speaker has burnt, or...- PersianMafia

PCDP OPINION
I really dig the Panasonic SL CT820. Not many people on these forums appreciate Panasonic CD Players (even though I think overall they superceed sony in general cd player quality). But the problem is, Panasonic doesn't supply North America with much of its higher end portable audio products. I...- PersianMafia

Anybody shopped here?
Well I decided to go for http://www.acertive.ca/ which seems like a much more reliable site and they have the ksc75s for a dollor or two cheaper. Including next day shipping and tax it came to $36 CAD. Not bad for the KSC75s is it?- PersianMafia
