Any word on the EVO's coming out in custom form? Deciding to make the jump from universals to customs after a long head-fi break.... The LX is one of my favorite IEM's, but the EVO sounds intriguing.- Pepito

Deoxit is what you need, once the connectors start oxidizing it affects the sound. You should be cleaning all your connectors regularly with Deoxit! :beerchug:- Pepito

64 Audio - Introducing Fourté Noir™️
Number 1 reason why I will never buy a 64 Audio product. Their prices are exorbitant compared to similar offerings from other companies. At the TOTL level it's about finding a monitor that's tuned to your tastes, paying an extra $1000 is only gonna make you think it sounds better. If you...- Pepito

I just got the Zeus in, and after about 2 hours (+1960's 2 wire) it's an excellent monitor. Flat, but not reference or neutral, extended and clean highs. The bass is there, however definitely not as much as the LX or Layla's that's for sure. The sub-bass reaches low, but there's no rumble, it's...- Pepito

That's a good choice. I have a set of LX's to compliment my Layla's. Both amazing IEM's for totally different reason's. I'd go crazy and get some signature designs or transparent smoke, but that's just me.- Pepito

flinkenick's 17 Flagship IEM Shootout Thread (and general high-end portable audio discussion)
The Moon Audio Black Dragon cable came in today for my Layla's, and after a few hours of burn-in it's already blasting the stock cable. The mids sound very thin with the stock cable, it's complete junk, maybe that's why people are upset on initial impressions because I sure was. After getting a...- Pepito

Awesome, mine are still a few days out but I'm looking forward to them. Not even bothering with the stock cable as I'll be slapping on a 1960's 2 wire. The stock cable is made by Null Audio though so it should be decent- Pepito

It's for those ultra-rich in Singapore. The King Arthur is a status symbol more than anything with an IEM that expensive... Excited to hear what the Wraith sounds like though. New EE always gets me excited!- Pepito
