Review: 1964 Ears V3 triple driver custom IEM (updated 10/24/12)
I noticed my left ear does that when I open my mouth. Since the right one has never done that, and the left one does, I think I might send them back to get them fixed. I'm a drummer so it doesn't bother me, but if I were a singer I could see how that would be annoying.- PaulF

Review: 1964 Ears V3 triple driver custom IEM (updated 10/24/12)
So...I finally got around to sending the moulds and paying for them and all that jazz, and I got my V3's yesterdays. I love them. I promised pictures which I will take soon, but for now I've got a set of iphone pictures: This is my second set of IEM's so I am nowhere near as...- PaulF

Review: 1964 Ears V3 triple driver custom IEM (updated 10/24/12)
I'm excited, just send my molds for my first pair of customs. Upgrading from some Etymotic hf5's, which I loved, but a sound tube broke earlier. (I'm definitely excited for hearing more bass out of the v3's though!) I can't really write reviews, as I don't have as much experience as many as...- PaulF

Excerising with IEMs
Well I have some Sony EX-83 equivalents (I believe) They don't really have isolation (I don't need it, as there is no sounds where I'm going), and although its really bass heavy, the sound quality isn't that bad.- PaulF

Excerising with IEMs
I'm pretty new to the IEM world, having bought my Etymotic HF5s 2 months ago. From what I have read, doing excerise tends to lower the life of IEMs because of the sweat build up on the cable near the drivers and the cable then cracking? It's just I would like to use my IEMs for biking (no...- PaulF

Definitely just wait until the HF5 go back down to $99 again. I bought mine in march for $99 from amazon, and I have been enjoying them ever since.- PaulF

Etymotic Research HF5 Portable In-Ear Earphones: $50 off
Hello, On monday I get my HF5 IEM's, and looking at pictures, I didn't know they could be worn over the ear. Do you insert them upside down i guess to get the cable to wrap around the ear? Doesn't that affect the fit or something?- PaulF

HD280 vs SCL3 for a drummer
Hello, I am taking a flight to New Jersey in a few weeks, and it is the perfect reason to upgrade on headphones. I have 2 pairs of Vic Firth drumming headphones, which have bad audio quality, but really really good sound isolation, and also have some Sony MDR-NX3 in ears that my dad bought me...- PaulF
