I'm going to be hiking a good deal of the appalachian trail this summer about 800 to 1000 miles or so. I'm in need of a decent sounding pair of headphones to wear while hiking. I currently I have some UE triple.fi 10s that were reshelled into customs, so i'm not thinking i want to bring them...

I have a pair of fisher hearing TF10 remolds. I also have a few pairs of the new TF10s from amazon last weekend. I'll do a comparison tomarow and fill you guys in. I have a feeling he may be right though. But, the comfort and easyness of use is probably worth it. lol. 

I had problems with the fit with mine as well, however, its only because i have super tiny ears. The pairs that i recieved all sound great. 

I feel like the past thread several months ago about this, had a response curve for the sound they would produce. it was pretty funny

I'm ok with it being ban worthy, it keeps these forums from being a marketplace for things. We already have one marketplace, we really don't need another. Plus, head fi is all about the sound, and making that sound availible to everyone. 

I have triplefi's reshelled as customs. I use them straight out of a 5th gen. ipod video and they sound great. I've also plugged them into my Harmon Kardon reciever and i can't tell that big of a difference. 

I've never heard the future sonics atrio, so my comment may be useless. The only other audiophile type iem i've heard is the RE0 and the UE triplefi 10 kills it. However, it is by no means a bass heavy iem. It is very very balanced in terms of bass response, how i view it anyways. Its also very...
