I'm curious what pads everyone is using, I've just fitted the Dekoni Fenestrated Leather and am really enjoying them (iFi iCAN Phantom with Tube mode engaged)

I did briefly mention that the sound staging isn't huge but, the good separation and layering makes up for this a bit. They're not a big and airy headphone, they do have a slightly more intimate presentation.

I'm mostly a rock listener - so pop-punk, post-hardcore, metalcore etc...

It's been a while since I last listened to these beauties, I had almost forgotten how good they sound:

Mine are warming up too in the Feliks Audio Envy I've got on loan, they are incredibly quiet as others have mentioned, not a jot of noise that I can hear. The sound is also quite dynamic and clean, definitely more linear than some NOS models, and they would be a fit and forget tube for many...

Have you had an answer about the "line out volume control" resetting every time you restart the device - this really kills pre-out functionality having to set it every time it is powered on :)
