There is nothing wrong with Blu-Ray and how real the picture looks. The problem is with these TVs that "enhance" the picture by taking away all the motion blur...but this is a discussion for another thread.- OMG teh Jambands

Looking for a dark mp3 player
The "darkest" sounding player I own is still the Rio Karma. With a flat EQ, It's got a nice thick low end. For reference, I also have a Fuze, Clip+, Carbon, Nitrus, and several MDs.- OMG teh Jambands

Ripping CD's from PC - Using iTunes
Ripping to lossless has nothing to do with crackles/pops, etc. The culprit is most likely your ripping software. Are you using iTunes? iTunes is not known for being particularly good in that regard. I have to say I don't really understand the reason for having gapless be something you can turn off. What's the point? Is it a battery life thing? I can't say I've never seen this feature - I have a Sony ATRAC3 CD player where you can enable an option called "seamless," and it gave you...- OMG teh Jambands

Yup, Rockbox can play hi-res FLAC no prob. Even 24/96 like you have there. Go for it. Edit: I only know for a fact that it works on my Rockboxed Fuze. For the Clip+, I am just assuming.- OMG teh Jambands
