Hey, where did the brown/white AKG K701 go?
I know I'm not crazy, there was another color combo for these cans, one with brown headband and white earpads. It seems these days only the black earpads/headband is available, and IMHO it doesn't look half as good as the brown/white one. Any ideas on where could I find them in this other...- Odrackyir

Already own Senn's HD 25 1 ii, worth to get Grado sr 225i?
Pretty much that. I'm planning to get some middle/high range cans, concretely AKG 701 and something from Grado. I was told that sr 225i is kind of the best in the quality/price chart, but also that they sound relatively similar to the Senns HD 25 1 ii, which I already own. What do you think...- Odrackyir

Emmeline The Hornet vs. Trends PA-10 for AKG 701 & Grado sr225i
Hi guys, I'm thinking about purchasing one of these two amps, that happen to be at the same price here in Spain. The Trends PA-10 is a tube desktop amp, and well... you all know what The Hornet is =P My cans at this point are AKG k701 and Grado sr225i. Which one of these amps would be better for...- Odrackyir

Hi guys, I have a short question here. I'm considering buying the K701 but I've heard they have little bass. Could somebody tell me which the equivalents to this hp are in the other brands? Like Denon, AT, Senn, Beyerdynamic, etc. So i can look for reviews and then choose? Thanks in advance- Odrackyir

Hi everybody, I'm here for some advice goodness... So, I currently own a pair of Senn's HD25 1 II, and I mean... they're just perfect. And that's the problem, I DO want to keep getting new headphones, mainly in the mid-range, but these Senns are just so damn good I'm afraid I would send...- Odrackyir

Great 2 know. Agree with you in the glossy screen stuff, I cannot really understand why would somebody put a mirrorish screen in a monitor. I mean, I am serious, I don't understand it. It makes viewing even more difficult, and you know, its just the ''why is it so glossy?? FUUUU''- Odrackyir

Hey guys, got some info about how better is HP LP2475w than ZR24w before calibration? I've purchased the first one without any intention of investing in calibrators, and was wondering wether it would be worthy to return and get a ZR24w, they're said to bring a better color fidelity from fabric- Odrackyir

Quote: HP LP2475w¿? you serious? Have already checked the price of NEC and Eizo 24''s? Dell's 24'' IPS panel (u2410) is more or less the same price, so I really don't know what you mean. I agree most Samsung and LG TNs are way cheaper, but you know this is no TN- Odrackyir

Monitor-fi
Just fixed it with a trick I found, already post it in HardForum so not gonna put it again. As I've reported there, I've completely lost the sound in my computer, pressumibly due to the HDMI taking the sound reproduction to my monitor, which doesn't include speakers. So no sound. Any ideas?- Odrackyir

I've just received my new HP LP2475w, and I'm quite happy about almost everything on it. It did come with some tilting but unlike the Dell u2311, the horizontal rotation allowed me to solve it. The size is just perfect for me, although the monitor itself is a bit too thick. However, I've just...- Odrackyir

Beats studios are not overpriced.
I have never tried any Dr. Dre headphones so far, but I mean... do they really pay celebrities for wearing their cans? IMHO just for that fact we could easily say Dr. Dre doesn't put the money where it should. Same thing with the headphones/IEMs built, they really look too flashy for being...- Odrackyir

Quote: Already returned the monitor. As you may (or maybe not, who knows) possibly know, DELL's customer service is widely (in)famous for being one of the most stressing to deal with. Go and youtube it if you need more info. I'm not saying it's that horrible 100% of times, since as...- Odrackyir
