Next Step, After Shure 530's
I, for one, purchased the se530's and returned them a day later. The lows were just completely muffled while the highs were like a constant SCREAMING IN MY EAR. Sort of like looking at something over and over and over again until it becomes so artificial its unworthy of glance from not even one...- nycrob515

Sorry i havnt been back to this thread in a while and I dont have the pics anymore. Next time i do it i'll post them. Worth the upgrade from ER6i to HF5?
Yeh x2 on that Lord. I went from my bose IE's to the HF2's which is similar to the hf5's. there is nothing like hearing song you've heard a million times and it sounding like you've never heard it before. DigDub, give them a try and if you dont like them return them......- nycrob515

Hey there. Im looking at either the 530's or the ie8's. I just want very good lows with good highs nd a decent amt of soundstage but dont understand something. on the sennheiser website it says that the ie8's have a dynamic driver. Foobar and flac file question
alrite i got that. But when i try and open the file in the 'locate flac.exe' screen it is empty. there is nothing there for me to select...know what i mean?- nycrob515

download foobar,import to foobar, convert to FLAC. thats what i would do but i have never messed with apple lossless nor am i a pro at file types. s9 looks sweeeet.....amoled screen...come on.- nycrob515

Hey, i posted this in the sound science section but got nothing and since some of you use foobar, i figured i would try here. here is my problem: I ripped a cd into foobar2000 and it was imported as a whole cd. in other words, it is one track 45 mins long.
