Official ATH-ES7 Thread
Anyone know where to get the ES7's white? Seems like the black ones are relatively easy to procure around the 60 dollar mark but I can't seem to find any White ones below $100...- nue

best DAP only phone
Thanks for all responses thus far, though I'm of the opinion that halcyon might be onto something. My current phone has only so so music capabilities, seeing as how it falls flat on its face when attempting to drive my Klipsch Custom 2's or CX55s. Strangely enough, it sounds decent through my...- nue

best DAP only phone
So, anyone got any suggestions for this? Searched a bit but nothing really conclusive other than IPHONE lulz. I'm really only looking for a phone that's: 1) Relatively small. (Think Gameboy Micro but thinner) 2) Decent amount of battery life (15+ playback/talk time) 3) Good music...- nue

Has anyone tried the Nokia XpressMusic 5310?
Sounds decent enough but really still can't hold a candle to a DAP when they have difficulty driving armature based cans or low impedance ones as well. Still, with the right cans, they sound good enough for daily use, if only the battery life were better though...- nue

Most important factor on sound quality for portable gear?
I'm curious about these responses as after going between a phone (Nokia 5610) and a DAP (Teclast T50) with the same sources and headphones, my phone simply falls flat on its face when attempting to drive my Klipsch Custom 2s. Bass response is nonexistent and mids are murky, yet, when I plug in...- nue

Klipsch Custom 2s! Awesome but a niggle..
Clips work with my Images as well, just loose on the Customs, making it rather worthless for the Customs. At the same time, the Images also come with a different type of cord, negating the problem I have with the Customs anyway. The foamies OTOH, fit neither as it simply will not budge past...- nue

Klipsch Custom 2s! Awesome but a niggle..
Despite this, I still haven't been able to stick them onto the current Customs I've got. Anyone else have these issues or tried?- nue

Alpha Brainwavz IEMs, are they any good?
X2 @ sparkfizzle Got them through Raz as well with the bundle, though I regularly use them and sometimes interchangeably with X5s and Custom 2s through the S:Flo as well. They do however sound quite similar to my CX55s, albeit looking a good deal cheaper, both in appearance and price...- nue

KOSS KSC75 @ RadioShack $5.47usd !!!
These are a God send... Bang for the buck look no further as they could easily be worth $50 or more. Don't walk, run to your nearest Radioshack before I go and snap them all up.- nue

The foamies arrived and they don't fit. Anyone got suggestions on how to squeeze them on/replace them or do I have to buy another set from the list- nue

Best sounding mp3 player?
Make sure to look up if certain players can actually properly drive the IEMs as certain DAPs have difficulty producing low frequencies without heavy roll off with any armature based IEM... This being the reason (I suspect) why you'll randomly have people posting over on the headphone board...- nue

Klipsch Custom 2s! Awesome but a niggle..
The EABKF1-10 don't appear to be listed anywhere in the US as they appear to be an overseas model. Hows that work? Oh well. Guess I can only make do with the PA910's. Thanks!- nue
