Philips Fidelio X2?!
Yeah, I have a number of amps in my house. I also have a big vintage Marantz amp but none of them are useful for the Fidelios. If you have a decent computer output I would really recommend that, or if you like to use your phone it should also go very well. :headphones:- Nirvana Woman

Boy, where to begin with these bad boys. I think I'll start with a strong statement: these might be a candidate for best headphone ever made. They have so much to offer it's pretty wild. Senny HD 560s vs 6xx
IMO yes, but I can't stand the 560S. Not a big fan of the HD650 either, but I can understand why people love it. The tonality is unquestionably more balanced and easier on the ears. Do keep in mind you'll be giving up some spaciousness, other than that it's an upgrade.- Nirvana Woman

That's how I'm feeling too at the moment. I've owned the HD560S for two weeks now and I'm just not getting "it". I've read from a number of people that these need time to grow on you, so I'm hoping that may still happen for me as well. When do you go from 'enthusiast' or collector to 'hoarder'
I have about five or six, half of them (dt990, dt770, Fidelio X2) I don't really use anymore but I'm not wanting to sell them either. The need just isn't that great and even if i sell them five years from now the value will probably still be about the same. I wouldn't consider myself a hoarder...- Nirvana Woman

Let's just come out and say it: I sadly don't enjoy this headphone. From the moment I took them out of the box, played Got The Life by Korn and the drums kicked in, I knew these weren't right for me. They're a bit too heavy in the treble for me, but I think the subbass, midbass, lower and upper midrange are very well balanced. So I think they're a pretty good shot at neutrality.
