I own LCD-X and looking to move to my next for source and amp. Currently Modi3+Asgard 2. Thoughts on the sound of Modius+Magnius running balanced? Not looking to exceed $1K for both. Also eyeing a90+d90 non MQA used.

How would these compare to the HE-500's?

How do these stack up against the HE-500?  I have the HE-400's and love them and looking for my next great headphone and was thinking these or the HE-500.  Any thoughts?

I used Exact Audio Copy and the rips match with no errors.  Do you know what that software is called?  I still find it funny that this release sounds so bad.

Just tried that and same results I think the mastering is just ****.  You cant tell on speakers really, but if your listening on open headphones it clicks and pops :( kinda a bummer.  I tried EQing it out but failed.

So just ripped my Slayer Repentless CD to FLAC and playing over my DAC/AMP to HE-400's and I hear a lot of clipping or static on a lot of the tracks.  Played a few other FLACS I have made and did not have the same issue.  Took the CD and put it into a standard CD player to my HE-400's again odd...

Still digging the HE-560's?
