List of DACs that work with iPad

Thanks for the info, I'm glad I asked first. The dock is not really ideal since I'm using it while travelling/on the move so I would prefer something where I can still use my iPad. Has anyone tried making a cck style cable? Or maybe pulled a cck apart and and put its contents in a smaller shell?

List of DACs that work with iPad

I have an ipad 3|Headroom Portable Micro Amp wDAC combo for my headphones (I find it much easier to connect for DAC use than any of my computers since you don't have to change any settings, just plug and play). At the moment I'm using the camera connector with a usb<----->miniusb cable but I'm...

    P4 the Warbler a new portable amp from iBasso . . first impression pg 3 . images Pg 6&7 . . .

I've been reading about this amp for a couple of days now as I'm looking for something a bit more portable than my current HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp. The Micro Amp sounds great with my UM Aero's which really need a good amp to reach their potential on the lower end of the spectrum. That said...

Pictures Of Your Portable Rig (part XV)

Quote: Really? I got UM Aero's about a month ago and as the bass is a bit bass light straight out my iphone 4 (there is plenty of bass out of HR Portable Micro Amp, it scales really really well), I thought I'd try the EQu app. Not only does it keep crashing, I found it wipes out a whole...

    Little Dot MKIII Tube Rolling

Hello all,   Anyone here have D5000 which they are using with the MkIII? Or would the Mk1+ be a better match for them?   Thanks Phil

    Little Dot I+ Tube Rolling

Hello there fellow head fi creepers,   Couple of things (I will be reading this whole thread but I just want some advice so I can order my amp ASAP): 1. I have D5000's and I'm looking for a tube amp to suit. I was looking at the MkIII but was advised against it due to the amount of current...

Good Tube Amp for Denon D2000/D5000?

I realize this thread has been dead for a while, but can anyone comment on the Little Dot Mk1+ Hybrid amp for use with some D5000? I'm really keen to get in to tubes/tube rolling, and im pretty interested in Little Dot because I live in Beijing (no shipping costs and it should take about 1 day...

Schiit Valhalla vs Little Dot MK III

So is the Valhalla worth the extra $150? (and I know it does have 5 year warranty but I doubt Little Dot will ever chanrge much/anything for repairs)   Thanks Phil

    Review of Little-Dot MKIVse

Just wanted to find out if the IV/IVSE is really that much better than the III. I have $200 to spend on an amp, but would be willing to fork out more if it is truly worth it.   For reference my setup will be MBP----> HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp with DAC (using the line out)--->(LD...

JMoney Ear Pads, poor build quality, worst customer service. Must Read! *** Pictures ***

Has anyone received decent J$ pads recently (in the last 2-3 months)? I'm considering getting some from HeadRoom (and asking if they could send me photo's of my pair before mailing).   If you think its not worth the risk, is there any company that can be recommended as an alternative?

    Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

If your real-leather pads are cracking after a fairly short time (I'd consider 2 years fairly short still), maybe you should put some leather conditioner etc on them ensure the leather stays supple. We all know leather conditioner works for shoes and bags, why would it be any different for pads...
