More portable version of the Grados?

Hey guys,   I'm a big fan of my Grado i60's, the open-air design sounds nice and they weren't very expensive. Yay. Only trouble is I want to wear some headphones outside on my bike and whatnot (I'm in Amsterdam, I bike like 24/7). What are some heapdhones that sound as good, but are much...

Need durable-cabled headphones (other specifics too)

The right angle connector could be worth a try. Is there a convenient place to find out what headphones do have this? Maybe I should just get used to earbuds/IEMs again. Edit: I found these with a right-angle plug. Any others?

Need durable-cabled headphones (other specifics too)

Maybe I need a pair that's easier to recable then? I tried recabling the porta-pro's and only succeeded in voiding the warranty and killing all sound. =/

Need durable-cabled headphones (other specifics too)

I keep killing the wires to my headphones right next to the jack going into my iphone in my pocket. Wire shorts, I get irritated, no fun =/ I am looking for some headphones, nothing that goes in your ears, that are made to take more of a beating than these porta-pros I killed. The headphones...

Backing up computer files (can you limit to only copying over what has changed since last time)?

Yeah, in linux you get services like rsync, in OSX you get rsync and nifty stuff like Time Machine. In Windows you want something sorta like this: cwrsync - Rsync for Windows | ITeF!x Basically, rsync does what you describe. It looks at your backup folder and your folder you're backing up...

    Recommend a few earbuds?

So I'm a big fan of how comfortable my crappy skullcandy buds are, but I've already had to fix them once and they don't sound too amazing. My budget's around 30-50$ if I can help it. I listen to a fairly wide range of music types such as Radiohead, Lupe Fiasco, Blackalicious, Joss Stone, Zombina...

    Reterminating earbuds

We did plenty of circuit-building in various labs, just never built anything that needed to last for longer than a week, so we would just proto-board it up.

    Reterminating earbuds

Yeah that's what I ended up doing, just melting off the ends.

    Reterminating earbuds

Well I figured it out. Had to get a friend help me to solder (which is funny since I'm a senior in EE and haven't had to solder anything ever), but we got it working just fine. I just got some stereo plug from radioshack, it seemed to work. Is there a better place to get different sorts of plugs...

    Reterminating earbuds

Hello everyone, I found this forum today when I was looking for information about earbuds and fixing/mod'ing them. I have some 15$ skullcandy earbuds I bought to replace my ipod earbuds (they broke cause they fell out my ears at speed on my skateboard, hehe). My friend (the only person close to...
