Player for night podcasts recommendation
Hi. My much loved Sansa Clip+ is dead and I miss it a lot. I need a new player to listen podcasts at night. The must have features I'm looking for are: * Physical buttons (no touchscreen!) * Automatic resume (when booting or at least when playing again the same file) * Variable speed...- mudo

Cost effectiveness of Headphones vs. Speakers
Once I read that headphones are to speakers what motorbikes are to cars. You get more SQ for your money when you buy headphones, but they are totally different things.- mudo

How Many Cans are Enough?!?
Three are enough: - A full size open headphone for home usage (HD650 for me) - A portable closed one with low impedance to use it anywhere (I have an ATH-ES55 coming!, hope I get it fast! ) - An IEM for when you really need portability and isolation (PFE121 in my case)- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
I like the level 1 bass boost enabled for my "woodyfied" Grado 225i, but disabled with the Senns HD650. Even with the Phonak PFE I find it best with the bass boost disabled. PFE with grey filters have a nice punchy bass when connected to the Arrow. It was a big surprise finding this out, they...- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
I agree, the Arrow's bass-boost is much cleaner and non-intrusive. In comparison FiiO E5 bass boost is really bad. That's good info to help people deciding about getting and Arrow (but not a fair battle, the Arrow is *a lot* more expensive).- mudo

L Shape plugs vs Straight plugs
That's the real answer: Quote: None is better "per se". I mean: To use with an mp3 player that has the audio jack located in one side, maybe I would prefer an L-shaped connector (because it should be less prone to break it I keep it in my pocket). To use it in *my* desktop I...- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
I already tried deleting that, using the left side form, the one on the right side... even using the browser of my phone. Anyway finally Robert wrote back telling me my order was ok and I think he will solve the problem I have in his website. I also received a mail saying the status of my order...- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
So lucky, you! I can not even log in the website. When I was making the order I finished the payment and when Paypal redirected me back to headphonia's site I got an error. Now I see my money is gone, the order *seems* to be completed (paypal gave me my own order number and the status is...- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
Quote: Well, I belong to those tbat think that the music you hear is the one that is powered by the electricity your headphones receive so... just measure the impedance of both adapters with a multimeter. It you get the same ohms, I can't find any reason why they should sound different...- mudo

Need help - Conflicting needs/wants for newbie
Quote: I could be wrong, but I also bet the HD25 sound closer to your ER4 than the M50. Quote: Yes... I feel the same. This is a very subjective hobby and that makes making decisions even more complex. About AIAIAI TMA-1: It looks like they are very close to my...- mudo

Headstage Arrow HE: Reviews, Impressions, Perceptions & Sensations
Yes, a long time ago. EDIT: Line out support is working in Fuze V1 since a long time ago. But sadly it is not working for Fuze V2 because Rockbox team still need to figure out how to activate it before they can release a version with line out support. (Come on Sandisk! help them just a...- mudo

Need help - Conflicting needs/wants for newbie
First and again, please remember that what I tell you about this two cans are just based on my readings, not my personal experience. I didn't try neither of them. No doubt both headphones must have very good SQ in this price range, but AFAIR they have very different sound signatures: M50...- mudo
