What would the IEM equivalent be of the Koss KSC75's?

Looking for some nice IEM's that fill the same niche as the Koss KSC75's. Basically looking for that IEM gem :)

got a pair of audioengine a5+, should i pair it with xonar st or audioengine d1

Yeah, the SVS is kinda expensive.. but it's one of the best musical subs for $500. Better stuff will cost you 900+ :/ so it's actually pretty good value hah and the way mine is connected is: Essence ST > RCA to SVS > RCA from SVS to Airmotiv. As long as you can do that, you don't need multi...

    ASUS Xonar Essence STU

Quote: Yeah, I can't complain. It sounds great to me. I tried lowering gain and raising volume and it sounded the same to me. I've also heard that Emotiva is coming out with their own passive volume control, so if the price is right, I might buy it.   Thanks for the explanation!

    ASUS Xonar Essence STU

Quote: I guess Digital is worse than Analog when it comes to Volume Control, but I did notice that the ST had two different volume controls. The mixer has a master volume, which is set to 76 by default, and then there's the digital knob. Wouldn't this basically emulate what you're talking...

I had the same problem so I decided to order an SVS SB1000. Can't wait for it to get here! :)

I also figured that it was mainly to do with stability, but now that you mention it, I might try them out for the "multi-tasking" feature. The official drivers are working fine for me, as far as I can see, so yeah... Ah what the hell, I'll try em out and see. What's the worst that could...

The Xonar Essence STX Q/A, tweaking, impressions thread

Quote: Is that all it is? >.> Bummer.   Is it better to get the latest unified drivers? I don't have any apparent problems with the official drivers, so I'm not sure if it's necessary.

    ASUS Xonar Essence STU

Quote: I've been trying to find an answer for this, and I think you may be able to help me.   This Volume Control... Would I need it if I use Powered Speakers with the ST? I'm running two Airmotiv 5's with the ST. I have the gain knobs at max, and I have the source on max, so I control...

got a pair of audioengine a5+, should i pair it with xonar st or audioengine d1

I haven't heard the D1, but having an internal sound card is always nice because it's kind of a "space saver," just less stuff on your desk. The ST is also Dolby equipped, which is a bonus if you're into that kind of thing. If you need something portable: D1. I'm also guessing that the ST should...

Have you guys downloaded the beta drivers from Asus? Seems like they were released this month.

Question about Volume Control for Airmotiv 5

I tried googling this but didn't get any answers :/   "Why do I need volume control?" Meaning that both my powered speakers AND (in my case) PC Volume is at 100%?   I'm guessing you get better SQ?   Anyway, IF I really do need this, would the Level Pilot work for me? I have the...

Asus ST vs. STX (I'm not crazy, right?)

Okay, so after reading a plethora of views and opinions and what not on the ST vs. STX, I find it hard to believe that some people say it is the same card.   I had the STX for about a week and I have enjoyed it thus far, but I feel like I'll be going the 2.1 route later on (after I get my...

    RE0 for $50, yay? nay?

I'm quite late to the party, and I've just found out that the RE0's are supposed to be quite amazing, so my question to you, experts of Head-Fi, is whether I should get them or not. $50 is reasonable by any standard, but I've heard these headphones have durability issues and what not. Have...
