can IEMs be durable?
I found the sony for 40€ on amazon (special price) so I just ordered it. I will let you know how it works for the gym as soon as I receive it, it's an all in one device (mp3 player + headphone) that is waterproof and has a 4Go memory.- Mr Vibe

can IEMs be durable?
wouldn't be bluetooth or all in one headsets more suited for sport application? KINIVO BTH240 LG TONE 700 all-in-one SONY NWZ-W173 most durability problems are due to the cable and jack, right?- Mr Vibe

can IEMs be durable?
I read many threads, reviews and feedbacks about IEMs considering I'm looking for a pair for the gym and it seems that they all fail. It's just a matter of time, even if you are careful. So a majority of people end up buying the cheapest pair they can find and replace them once they break. ...- Mr Vibe

Your favourite "not the best" headphones?
Audio Technica WS99 not cheap and there are some serious competitors for the same price range (m100) but man are these GOOD the bass has a depth and impact I never experienced before, fast responding, precise and very fun to listen to, mids and highs aren't recessed so overall it's still...- Mr Vibe

Looking for portable headphones/ earphones/IEM for trip hop/electro music (150$ budget)
Buying used is a good advice, that's what I did for my Audio Technica WS99 that I got for half its original price. It is perfect for electro but not the best option to get out or exercise. The only thing is that my two last pairs of IEM failed so I worry about long term durability of IEMs in...- Mr Vibe

Looking for portable headphones/ earphones/IEM for trip hop/electro music (150$ budget)
I'm at it again, my Meelectronics A161P failed on me (cable) so I need an update for the same music genres (electro, trip hop..) and a good noise isolation they need to be strong/ qualitative too as I will be using them at the gym- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
Quote: Uptowns aren't bad for their price but not in the same league as the WS99 at all. It's like comparing a Fiat and a Ferrari. Well...almost. Trouble is when you got your Ferrari you want a Pagani and it goes on and on. When I look at the list of headphones some of you have it's...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
Quote: I doubt any headphones could do everything great, even costing 1K$.. They are great on trance, house, techno too. My girlfriend tested them (the Uptowns are her headphones) and she was like wooooohaaaaaa, she's more of a basshead than me and she didn't want to give them back ...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
I almost didn't stop listening to the WS99 and I'm loving them more and more. They're great on hip hop and french rap too (I like rap better than hip hop, hip hop has become a business while rap is still an act of resistance) If you don't know french rap bands I really dig these ones...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
Quote: What did you feel was lacking on the WS99 compared to other headphones you tried? I forgot to speak about the comfort. For my head and ears it is good so far. The size is a little weird though, I have small/medium ears I would say and they are a mix of over the ear and on...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
I bought them used but in like new condition and they have a few hours on them already. The seller told me 12h, but I'll see if the mids open a bit with time. I'm listening to Billy Holiday right now :) I have a stupid question: generally when you unplug a jack is it better to turn it at...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
Got mine too First time I'm listening to them at the moment I'm typing. Loving the sound.. sooo strong sound. Bass: FAST and with a good impact. It feels like a kickdrum really (I'm a drumer), the response of these is great. The bass just feels realistic, like directly coming from...- Mr Vibe

The WS99/WS77 PG 57..
That's a nice mickey mouse lol They don't need to isolate like hd25 either, but I just needed to make sure I won't have to push them too much when I listen to music outside. Does anyone listen to trentemoller and this kind of music? Or trip hop? How do you like the WS99 with these...- Mr Vibe
