If you don't mind me asking... What did you end up getting?

Should I purchase the HE-400 or wait for the HE-400i? What is the price difference? Is it worth the wait/extra cost? Thanks in advance!

I think I'm going to just go for the SM3's. Gonna pull the trigger before the 15% discount from Sound Earphones expires. Just one last question to all SM3 owners, is the build quality THAT bad? Under good care would the shell still pop out?
