Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Disk Mode and Dailybuilds of rockbox doesn't work with that build atleast with my 160gb model that is.Disk mode is also present on the r919M build also on the emcore server and the only thing it lacks is the usb hid options in the included rockbox fallback image- mikemike097

i recommend you backup your data first since rockbox will likely reformat your drive to use fat instead hfs...as far as windows 8 goes you'd likely get better results with 7 and earlier versions- mikemike097

well the 1tb evo is cooler running and more power efficient than a 480gb m500 consuming only a bit more at full throttle so it would likely work assuming its firmware likes to mingle with rockbox.- mikemike097

The CE-ATA spec'd ipod is related to the mmc/sdcard spec rather than the ata spec that normal drives use.- mikemike097

it would be fine if only the drive is removed/failed and works well with a working drive.......sad face icon can mean alot of things from dead drives to finicky logic boards- mikemike097

i think they started having build problems starting r868 im not quite sure if they managed to put out newer ubi releases than r868 as it has been buried by the newer ubi-less builds- mikemike097
