Man, I am losing track of all the GR07 iterations. Which ones exist now? And what's the general concensus on the new cable vs. the original cable? I'm still a bit miffed that - due to being out of the loop - I bought a set of original GR07 not one week before the new cable version dropped :(...

So, did anyone else buy a pair of MK1's a couple of weeks before the MK2 dropped? Of all the times to be out of the loop!  

Good to see some super appreciation in here. I, too, am falling in love all over again after being without them for a fortnight. I didn't nab the MKII from LMUE, but I'm not too phased about that. They're such disgustingly comfortable earphones. And in my eyes, they're beautiful; discrete, sleek...

Yeah, my little plastic bit came loose, too, but I'm not even going to try and glue it back in place. It seems as if it would have very little effect on anything. They're sturdy little things, the GR07.
